Navigation

At first you may get a lost navigating around KEWL. Normally it takes several exploratory sessions to get used to the Navigation System. Please make particular note of the following features of KEWL’s navigation options.

General Navigation

• Home Button – This button will take you to the Home Page, however you may still be in the last course visited. Check your Location Indicator. You may need to click the Leave Button to fully return to the Lobby.
• Close this Window – This button will appear in pop-up windows and clicking these buttons will close pop-up windows. If your pop-up window appears to be the only KEWL window open, you may choose to click your browser’s Back Button.

Course Navigation

Once you are in a specific course, you can navigate by using with the Tree or the Menu Bar. Depending on how the course is set-up, courses will have either Tree Navigation or Menu Bar Navigation, but not both.

Tree Navigation

The “Tree” appears on the right side of the page near the top. Below is an example of Tree Navigation. You can open different folders of course content as well as select the available course features. To access different content pages, expand the Chapters icon (click the plus sign) and select the desired page by clicking its title.

Menu Bar Navigation

The Menu Bar Navigation is located at the bottom of the page. Below is an example of Menu Bar Navigation. Using this Menu Bar, you can select the available course features. The functions of individual buttons in the Menu Bar are indicated in the rollover window (see Green Arrow below). To access different content pages, click one of the four navigations options (please refer to example below):

• Next Page (Red Arrow 1)
• Previous Page  (Red Arrow 2)
• Forward Navigation  (Red Arrow 3)
• Backward Navigation  (Red Arrow 4)
