Sample Uses of KEWL

There are several examples available that illustrate how KEWL can be used. Following are two "supportive uses" and five "instructional uses" taken from an ongoing African-based graduate training programme in ICT and Telecommunications Policy and Regulation known as NetTel@Africa. KEWL courses when accessed from a KEWL server are dynamically updated web pages. These courses are represented below are presented as "static content", meaning that they are not connected to a dynamically updated database. The interactive features of KEWL courses are not available in the following examples.

Supportive

You may notice that some materials from these two supportive "courses" noted below are used in other loactions in the KENET ToT materials.

  • NetTel Information Center - This is resource is a KEWL course designed as an "information centre". The audience for this supportive resource is the student population currenly enrolled in the NetTel@Africa programme.
  • Faculty Resource Center - This resource is another KEWL course designed to provide support to NetTel@Africa course developers and instructors.
