Essay Questions

At the end of this course, students should write an essay on ONE of the following:

1. Is the Telecommunication Revolution taking place in the country that you live in? Analyse this in relation to the factors that contribute to the revolution and growth in the telecommunications sector.
   
2. Critically discuss the rationale for regulating the ICT sector? Do this by drawing instances from the ICT regulatory experinces in your country.
3. Identify two international organizations and two regional (African) organizations and critically discuss their impact on the development of ICT in your country.
4. With specific reference to your country of residence (or any African country of your choice), critically assess the role of ICT in community development and suggest policy issues that can enhance this role.
