Our Work

Because people-level-results is our most important value, our work is project driven. Since our founding in 2001 our projects have impacted thousands of people all over the world. As we have grown, our projects are now organized under three thematic workgroups: Global Networks, Rural Networks, and Digital Futures.

Improved access to Web and related information technologies seldom in itself provides a solution to challenges faced by communities, institutions, or organizations. Rather "Bridging the Digital Divide" requires attention to the specific cultural, political, educational and economic factors needed for successful adoption of these technologies to achieve desired solutions.
