Information Design Blog Connections
Colleen is currently coordinating the CBDD's programming efforts in Rwanda: ICT workforce development for youth and capacity building for Last Mile Initiative sites on Rwandan Coffee Farm Cooperatives.
Colleen came to the Center from the University of Idaho where she taught information design and directed the Foundations Program for the Department of Art and Design. She holds a BS from the University of Wisconsin Madison and an MFA from the University of Idaho and has completed post-graduate work at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Colleen is an information designer with a special interest in design as an economic and social development tool. She has designed communication portals and interactive web sites for the Washington State Community Trade and Economic Development Agency, The National Park Service, and The National Coalition for Rural Entrepreneurship. She is available for consulting, and public speaking engagements, and design projects.
